However to whet the appetite, here are two pictures of fine RNSD Copenacre sides from the 1970s at their 'home' pitch, the Sheffield Ground. The title picture shows poplars at Hudswell 'Common' in winter.

£14,000-worth of miscanthus (the previous year's harvest) gone up in smoke in May 2010. This is the field between Rudloe and Hudswell. See also the foot of the 'Localities', 'Hudswell' (Hudswell) page for more pictures, taken by Tim Barton, of the miscanthus burning.
